We created the industry’s first ever recognised vocational qualifications to look after, nurture and promote the brightest talent coming into the leather industry. Our SVQ (Scottish Vocational Qualifications) is certified by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and recognised all over the world.

Our people play a crucial part in how we work now, and how we are shaping a more sustainable future for everyone. We offer a curriculum that keeps our industry alive with new talent, putting the next generation into the driving seat, ready for success.
200 students have already qualified in our SVQ Level 2 award in Leather Production and the SVQ Level 3 award in Leather Manufacture. Building future talent is part of our commitment to lifelong learning, open to all our employees, as we hand our leather-making knowledge from one generation to the next.
